Bill & Diane Ferguson had continued on an existing ministry named “Child Alive” around 2006 and changed the name to “Canada Come Up Higher Ministries”. Both Bill & Diane had already been working with the homeless in Abbotsford and the timing worked out for them to continue on the previous ministry with the new name. The new name was inspired during a worship service at a local church here in Abbotsford and this was the beginning of the new transition.
